Charlie Chuck performing at the Montreal Comedy Festival
Forgot to post this after Dave (Charlie) told a group of us about it after his performance at GTI International. He'll be performing at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal for a week in July. His performance will form part of the Brachetti Dragone; The Gala! - which runs from July 13th to the 22nd and then the 24th to the 26th, at two separate venues in Montreal, Canada.
The Gala, which features a montage of performances from around 10 International artists including Arturo Brachetti, Eric Antoine, Charly Pop and Yan Stotz will be broadcast on the Comedy Channel (or, so I'm told) and hopefully one of the UK's Channel 4 network channels.
Dave said he's feeling pretty nervous about the gig after doing some rehearsals in Paris last month. From what I can gather his performance will involve following up one of Canada's biggest comedians and a piano, which ends up in pieces (the piano, not the Canadian)
Hopefully someone out there will be able to grab the performance and throw it up on youtube, along with the other clips of Charlie for the rest of us to enjoy. I'm still working on the 20 minute or so footage of him from when he appeared for uk-mkivs at GTI International - I should hopefully have something to post in the next few weeks (very funny btw!)
