Add Windows Live Search Box to your site
Well, it looks like those clever bods at Microsoft are at it again. They are offering site owners a new service which allows then to place a Windows Live Search Box on their respective sites. This product probably rivals Google Search for publishers, and even includes sponsored links for prospective searchers to click. However they haven't given any hints as to whether CTR's will be rewarded.
Using a neat pop up window (AJAX powered) it keeps users on your site which is another bonus.
I'll be adding the Windows Live Search to this site over the coming week so I'll update on the progress (read: when I work out how to replace / work along side CS search!)
Edit - Nick Brown (of nbDevelopment) has shipped his latest Aero 2 theme with Live Search enabled. You can search this site via Live Search - although at the moment it doesn't seem to working, I guess I'll need to re-do code for this site as I presume it uses some kind of unique reference to prevent code being copied to non-configured sites.
