After the near shock of loosing my passport while in NZ, it became apparent I would have had to change my flights with Singapore Airlines. Now, in the past, the slightest sniff of anything to do with rescheduling flights usually sent your credit card into cardiac arrest - not on this occasion, though. After Nanny Sheila called Singapore Airlines (she needs to do more phone calls for me, I'm sure she's a Jedi or something), to enquire about extending my flights not only did they (SA) say it was fine, but I could actually go back when ever I felt like (within reason of course - otherwise I'd still be there now).

Cue finding passport and another call to SA and I was booked on the next days flight at no extra cost.

Now, the thing that gets me in a tizz - I mucked about with my dates before I booked the flights originally (through travel4less.co.uk) and, for flights leaving the next day with SA, it would of cost me an additional £130. Something tells me I'll be loosing my passport in future, who knows I may actually get to travel the globe for a fraction of the cost.

Of course I don't think SA took pitty on me and it must of been down to the time of year, or the fact most seats on flights for the next couple of weeks weren't full. But it does beg the question, doesn't it....?
